Your shell, beside the page.
A real terminal in the Panel, started in your project. The command and the page it changes share one window: move a task from the shell, and the card moves on the board.
Free for macOS, Windows, and Linux. No account, no subscription.

Your shell
Nothing new to learn
It’s your login shell, or any you name, in a real terminal: colours, control keys, copy and paste, scrollback, and full-screen programs like vim, htop, or claude. Your dotfiles run as usual, and nothing runs that you didn’t type.
⌃`puts the cursor in it- Both themes, in the app’s monospace font
- Any shell you name, set for your machine alone
Out of the way
There when you want it
The shell keeps running while the Panel is hidden or another page is open, and its scrollback waits for you. Drag the view to another side of the window if you like. Exit a shell, and you can start a new one from the view.
How it connects
Every plugin answers to the shell.
What a command writes shows on the page like any change on disk.
- Backlog
eidos backlog setmoves a task, and the card moves on the board above. - Blueprints
eidos checkruns the health check, and you can open each file it names. - Git
For what the app leaves to git, like switching branches and blame, git is right there.
- AI Agent
Prefer your agent in a terminal? Run it here. Use the Chat when you want the open page as context.
From the shell
Already where the work is
The shell starts in the project’s folder. EIDOS_ROOT is set to its path and EIDOS_USER to the person you’re acting as. So eidos, git, and your scripts work on the right files, as the right person, from the first command.
$ echo $EIDOS_USER

$ eidos check
